Intelligame’s grown quickly over the past few months, and it can be hard to keep track of it all. Subscribe to our free, weekly Intelligame Recap newsletter, we’ll help keep track of it for you.
Hey folks, this is Josh, Intelligame EIC/sole staffer (for now). I wanted to take a couple minutes to tell you about a new service we’re offering at Intelligame, and ask for your help. It’ll be quick, I promise!
It’s been a busy summer.
A lot’s happened for this site over the past few months. I launched a new daily podcast, Intelligame Radio, which delivers bite-sized pieces of games and culture. (By the way, IG Radio is also an Anchor.fm Featured Gaming Station!) I attended E3 in Los Angeles and the Game Devs of Color Expo in New York City. I published our first piece from a guest columnist, Mikkel Snyder, and interviewed Adventure Cartoonist Lucy Bellwood to learn about boats in games (and more). We’ve also streamed tons of games:
- L.A. Noire (extensively)
- Abzu
- XCOM 2
- Emily is Away
- Emily is Away Too
- The Evolution of Trust
- Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles
There’s been plenty of other stuff, too! All this is to say that Intelligame’s growing, coming up with new ways to share information and experiences with you. To help smooth things out, I’m launching Intelligame Recap: a compilation of highlights from the past week, alongside a special Letter from the Editor.
Why Intelligame Recap?
Currently, Intelligame lives on Facebook, Twitter, Anchor, Twitch, and now YouTube. There’s also a small-but-growing live chat community on Discord (which will be even better if you join), and I’ve got plenty of plans for the future. Many of you folks follow each of those accounts individually, but I know that can be a lot of different places to try and keep up with.
I hope you’ll still follow Intelligame updates during the week, but IG Weekly will consolidate select print, video and audio links into a single location: your email. And I hate spam as much as you do, so I’ll make sure that updates you get from us are worth your time.
Thanks so much for the time and attention you’ve invested into Intelligame so far. If you like what happens here, please be sure to subscribe to the newsletter and follow our pages to make sure you get all the updates! Also, share Intelligame content with others you think would be interested! This community is what it is because of you.
Let’s Intelligame,
-Josh
